Design Team Member
This is Laura's second term with Crop Addict.
My name is Laura Shreve. I am true "Jersey Girl" I was born & raised here & just love this state despite all the people who love making fun of us here. I am currently a SAHM to four wonderful kids, Connor (11), Caleb (11), Rachel (10), & Kailey (10). If you take a look at the children's ages you will see that we are obviously a blended family. My dear husband David & I were married in May of 2004 & all of the kids live here with us. It is a bit crazy at my house, but absolutely filled with love. I always wanted four kids & as my mom always said, "be careful what you wish for," but seriously I wouldn't have it any other way.
I have been scrapbooking for over 10 years. I started soon after my son Caleb was born. When I started I wasn't very committed & didn't really get much accomplished. Then about 5 years ago, my neighbor invited me to a Creative Memories party & something just clicked for me. I bought a huge starter kit, albums, & tons of gadgets. I also joined a group of fabulous ladies who got together & scrapped once a month at a local firehouse. That was it. a scrap addict was born. Now I have moved way beyond my Creative Memories days & I have my hands in all kinds of paper crafts.
I would have a hard time describing my style as it has been evolving & changing as I learn new things about the craft & about myself. That is one of the things I love about scrapping is that there are no rules...it is all about the art!
I am relatively new to Crop Addict and I am looking forward to learning, sharing & growing along with the site as a member of this fabulous design team.
